UK BHS PARTNERSHIP Bardstown High School selected for University of Kentucky’s Next Generation Scholars Network
Bardstown High School is one of 10 public high schools in Kentucky selected by the University of Kentucky to participate in the UK Next Generation Scholars Network 
School Closed Until April 20 BCS will remain closed until April 20 to slow spread of COVID-19
To slow the spread of COVID-19 Governor Beshear has asked all Kentucky schools to remain closed until April 20, 2020. We support the Governor’s decision to prioritize the health and wellbeing of everyone in our state. Spring break will be observed as scheduled March 30 - April 10th.

The Jennifer Lynn Gaddie Grant for Arts Education assists a Bardstown High School rising freshman, sophomore or junior each year who excels and has proven artistic ability in the area of music, dance, theatre, creative writing, visual arts or audio/visual production by providing financial assistance for their pursuit of further training in their chosen arts field.

Joey inducted to hall of fame Joey Downs inducted into NHSACA National Coaches Hall of Fame
Longtime BHS coaching legend Joey Downs ’75 has been inducted into the 2019 National High School Athletic Coaches Association (NHSACA) Hall of Fame. Downs was honored during the NHSACA’s national convention and awards banquet at the Ramkota Hotel in Bismarck, ND, on June 26, 2019.
