Parent Choice Survey Open Through July 7
Bardstown City Schools is working on a plan to return to school. To develop a plan that serves the needs of our students we need input from  our families.  
Best high Schools Bardstown High School has been named to the U.S. News Best High Schools Rankings.
The rankings are compiled annually covering data from more than 24,000 public high schools across 50 states and the District of Columbia. Nearly 18,000 schools were ranked on six factors based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college.
At the state level, Bardstown High School came in at 30/380 scored schools in the rankings (Top 8%) and 2,824/17,792 (Top 15%) in the country.
A Message from Dr. Clark About Returning to School
We know our parents, students, and staff all want to know details about the expected return to school in August. In this video Dr. Clark explains how the district is working to create a plan for the Reopening of Bardstown City Schools.

Bardstown High School is one of 10 public high schools in Kentucky selected by the University of Kentucky to participate in the UK Next Generation Scholars Network 
School Closed Until April 20 BCS will remain closed until April 20 to slow spread of COVID-19
To slow the spread of COVID-19 Governor Beshear has asked all Kentucky schools to remain closed until April 20, 2020. We support the Governor’s decision to prioritize the health and wellbeing of everyone in our state. Spring break will be observed as scheduled March 30 - April 10th. 
BCS will implement Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) from March 16 through March 27 closely monitoring developments related to COVID-19, Governor Beshear has requested schools close to help prevent the spread of this illness. Bardstown City Schools will implement Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) from March 16 through March 27 (which are the two weeks before Spring Break).
