Twenty-seven students attend FBLA State Conference
Earlier this month, 27 Bardstown students traveled to the Galt House Hotel to compete for a chance to go to San Antonio, Texas for the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference.

Nearly 2,150 participants from across the Commonwealth attended the state conference to enhance their business skills, expand their networks, and participate in 72 business and career-related competitive events.

Several tigers earned top marks at the state conference. 

Makayla Kisegy '19 received state recognition at the FBLA Awards of Excellence Program and earned 2nd place in Accounting II.

Clay Newon '20 earned 1st place in Database Design and Applications. Clay is a certified Microsoft Office Specialist in Microsoft Access. MOS is a class offered at BHS through the Business Department.

Issac Kiser '20, Joseph Pohlman '20, and Clay Newton '20 earned 2nd place in marketing. Their team event consisted of a test, case study, and presentation to judges.

Paula Lopez '22 and Keana Porter '22 placed third in Network Design.

These tigers qualified for the National Leadership Conference held in San Antonio June 29-2. Please join us in congratulating them!
