I graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Chemistry from Western Kentucky University in 1998. I also earned a MAE and Rank I in Educational Leadership from WKU. Currently, I am enrolled in a Masters of Science Program through Ohio University in which I am pursuing a degree in Chemistry. I live with my husband and son, Sam, in Louisville. Sam attends Bardstown City Schools with me.
I have served as an AP Chemistry Reader since 2005 and am a trainer for Laying the Foundation. I actively pursue professional development opportunities to improve my teaching skills. My interests include incorporating technology in the classroom, flipping the classroom, modeling in science, and literacy in science.
