Ms. Angel Filiatreau

Welcome to the Bardstown Early Childhood Center. My name is Angela Filiatreau (Ms. Angel). I am truly blessed to have a job that I love. My students make me smile every day and help me appreciate what is really important in life. I am always amazed at their enthusiasm for learning which motivates me to be more creative and challenges me to become a better teacher. Through the years my students have taught me to set high expectations for learning. I truly want my students to love learning. I am looking forward to a new year with all the joys it brings.

I have been teaching at Bardstown Early Childhood for 28 years. I have a master’s degree in Early Elementary Education from the University of Louisville. I also received National Board Certification as a Generalist in Early Childhood in 2010.

I have been married for 27 years and have three children, ages 24, 22 and 18. I love spending time with my family most of all. I also love animals, especially horses and I love most outdoor activities.
